"Dimples is good at getting out of jams," his manager told reporters after the game. "He's almost more effective when he gets guys on base or gets behind in the count, because he uses your aggressiveness against you."
This year Sipriano has a 10-8 mark in 28 starts with a 3.37 ERA. He has given up 178 hits in 203 innings, struck out 95 and issued 80 walks.
