| Breaking News |  | Saturday, September 12th, 1936: Los Angeles's Bradfield Out One Week
After injuring himself, Angels shortstop Gideon Bradfield headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after being hit by a pitch and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Bradfield will miss at least one week with blurred vision.
In the 1936 campaign Bradfield has hit at a .232 clip with 34 RBIs, 3 home runs and 26 runs scored.

 | Monday, August 31st, 1936: Big Bat Bags PCL Best Player Award
This week's best performer in the South was first baseman Nelson Graham of the Los Angeles Angels.
He slashed out a .417 average and was voted the Player of the Week. Over the last week Graham stroked 10 hits in 24 at-bats and 2 home runs, drove in 6 runs and scored 7 times.
In 1936 Graham is batting .354 with 9 home runs and 65 RBIs.
