In 1936, Enright has a 15-7 mark in 27 starts with a 2.67 ERA. He has given up 209 hits in 206 innings, struck out 69 and issued 34 walks. The Cleveland second baseman said to TSW reporters in the postgame interview, "It makes it easier if you get a good pitch. The odds are in your favor then, not the pitcher's. I got a bunch of very pretty pitches to hit today, and I didn't miss any of them."
R. Baer singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
Year-to-date in 111 games Baer has compiled a .284 batting average with 116 hits and 5 home runs.
