Dad Mccullough of the St Paul Saints spun his magic on the Denver Bears today. He blanked them 2-0 on 3 hits, registering 5 strikeouts and 4 walks.
"The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Mccullough said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down."
Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, the St Paul skipper said, "We got solid pitching, good defense and we took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations. This was just a solid performance by everyone."
This year Mccullough has fanned 135 in 371.1 innings and collected a 17-21 record with a 3.95 ERA.
