Monday, September 14th, 1936: AA Player of the Week Goes to Houk of Indianapolis
This week's Player of the Week was Pop Houk of the Indianapolis Indians.

His big bat belted and blasted East pitching for 12 hits in 19 at-bats, 3 home runs, and 6 RBIs while hitting .632 and scoring 6 runs.

Tuesday, September 8th, 1936: Bauman Sidelined, Listed DTD by Indianapolis
Indians reliever Waldo Bauman was injured while throwing a pitch against the Louisville Colonels. The injury was diagnosed as a finger blister. The Indianapolis standout is not expected to miss too much action and will be listed as day-to-day. He could be out about 2 weeks.
